Travel | Sutro Baths

A few weeks ago, my friend (and roommate), Dan, and I went on a little day trip to SF for her birthday ^^ We had lunch with some other friends and afterwards I had a team meeting for my internship...but when that was over, Dan and I drove down to SF! We didn't have a bunch of time to explore but that just means more left to explore for the next time we're in the city :)

We spent most of our afternoon enjoying the scenery at the Sutro Baths ruins. We spent a good couple hours here, then we headed to Union Square for the obligatory picture with one of the heart sculptures in the square and some window shopping. Here are some pictures from our little adventure~ (・∀・ )

Travel | SF Cherry Blossom Festival

This weekend was the beginning of the cherry blossom season and to celebrate that, San francisco held their annual Cherry Blossom Festival. It was the first time my friends and I went. There were food stands, street vendors, performances, and tons of people in cosplay. The first thing on the agenda was to find food of course. Our first stop was a food stand called Moffle Waffle which is basically a mochi waffle. I heard a lot of great things about it online so I had to try it.

We got the Cherry Blossom Special. It was topped with red bean paste, whip cream, and green tea ice cream.

After going through all the food stands a exploring some more, we did a bit of shopping around in the Japantown plaza. There were art vendors all around the plaza that sold their prints, flower crowns, trinkets, and various crafts. My friend Patricia and I bought super cute flower crowns and headbands.

The Hello Kitty Cafe truck also made an appearance at the event. However, by the time we went to the truck, the line made its way down the street. Some people waited in the line for 3+ hours so we gave up on it. We took pictures of the truck though.

There was also a Pocky truck that was handing out free Pocky!

And that about sums up our adventure at the Cherry Blossom Festival. Thank you for reading!

The weather is warming up! That means cute dresses~ c: I got this dress a while back now and I just can't get over how cute it is. The pattern and the cut is just too cute! *-* I added the belt to make the look seem a bit more put together. And since it was a tad chilly, I added in the knee-highs.

Now that the weather is getting nicer, that means more outfit posts to come! I'm so terrible when it comes to putting together winter outfits T_T I basically just wear my university sweatshirt and jeans...every...day.... Spring time means more cute clothes and that means more blog posts~ ^^ Tina and I have been busy the last few weeks because of winter quarter finals and the start of spring quarter. But now that we're getting into the flow of things, we'll hopefully have more posts coming out soon! Before midterms start and we're back in our study caves at least.. x.x

REVIEW | ETUDE HOUSE Moonlight In Spoon Blending Sleeping Cream

Hello hello~ I am back with another review ^^ This time, one of Etude House's Moonlight In Spoon Blending Sleeping Cream! The one I used and will be reviewing is the blending sleeping cream in Rosehip.

Blend together Sleeping Cream’s golden herb water-gel and richly nourishing cream contents to moisturize skin overnight for a lucid, bright moonlight-like complexion.

So when you first open up the adorable packaging, you will find two creams (but tbh they were more like gels). You just use the spoon handle that just breaks off easily and mix up the two creams until you get your ~sleeping cream~. Then, using the handle like a spatula, apply a generous amount of the sleeping mask onto your face and neck. Let it do it's magic while you sleep and just wash it off the next morning!

I was actually surprised with how much you get out of this one product. Even after applying generous amounts of the mask onto my face, I was able to use this four times! The last night I used this, there wasn't that much product left, but I was still able to cover my entire face.
I love the smell of roses so I was very happy with the scent of this mask. It wasn't too overbearing or perfume-y; it was light, floral, and a little sweet. Again, I thought the texture was more of a thick gel, but I don't think it's that big of a deal. My skin absorbed the mask after about 20-30 minutes. When I woke up the next morning, I found that my skin looked brighter and was noticeably firmer. As I used the product more, my skin progressively looked a lot better! I was so sad when I ran out of the sleeping cream. :c I am for sure going to buy more and trying out some of Etude House's other sleeping creams!~
