REVIEW | ETUDE HOUSE AC Clinic Intense Mask Sheet

{formulated with Salicylic Acid, mask sheet made from 100% Bamboo fivers supplies soothing moisture}

My skin has been really breaking out recently and so I thought it would be a good time to try out this mask I got recently from Etude House! ^^ This mask is from their AC Clinic Intense collection, meant to not only moisturize but also "soothe troubled skin".

Just like your typical sheet mask, when you open up the package you see the sheet mask soaked in the formula. The formula itself wasn't sticky and wasn't scented, something I actually prefer. The mask felt a lot stronger than the usual cotton masks. It was also a lot more opaque than the usual kinda-see-through masks I'm used to using. The eye and mouth openings were kind of small though... it was hard to adjust the masks to fit my features well, but it wasn't anything too bad. I left the mask on for ~20 min and after I took it off, I got the left over formula in the package and applied it onto my face and neck.

The mask has a nice cooling effect when you put it on and it definitely leaves your face feeling very moisturized. While you won't see any overnight results in terms of acne, I did notice my skin looked firmer and more moisturized the next morning. The only thing though was that I did notice some acne develop on my neck and along my jaw. I've never gotten acne on my neck before and so I'm guessing it's from the mask. :\ And at $2, it is slightly pricier than other similar sheet masks, so I probably won't be purchasing this mask again.
